In 1897, a few years after Bruno Buchmann settled in Chicago, he wrote an humorous letter to his old school mate and friend Peter Halter. Peter Halter by then became a celebrated author, poet and playwright in Hochdorf. The letter was very well written and shows that Bruno also was a very talented writer. Bruno did later published many articles and became a recognized person and educator. His descendants are all well educated and highly successful.
